Teletubby 136,407
Beyond “Wicked,” Erivo is channeling her artistry into music. She reveals exclusively that her debut album will drop next year, just before the release of “Wicked: For Good. “The album is eclectic, blending soul, country, and pop,” she says. “My voice is the backbone — I’ve even used it as an instrument for layering sounds.” For the second part of “Wicked,” Erivo worked closely with composer Stephen Schwartz to create an original song for Elphaba. “I collaborated on one of the new songs, and it’s so special to me,” she shares. “When we filmed it, the entire crew was in tears. I hope audiences are ready — it’s a song that speaks to the heart of who Elphaba is.” variety.com Rat Boy is the King of Trash Bins 3 4

That said, I agree with many others here: I know this woman mostly because of her weird hot take opinions and online rants, and that's the sole reason why I find her very unlikeable and am not interested in seeing or hearing more from her as an artist. It's as simple as that. Please don't accuse people of racism just because they don't agree with certain opinions that have nothing to do with race. It doesn't help the cause. We need to pick our battles wisely, and I can dislike people of any gender, sexuality, religion or color of their skin, as long as I do not dislike them FOR these things. 6 1 1

For some reason Cynthia doesn’t say “I am Elphie” to me Kerry Ellis has a great voice, but is an incredibly lazy live performer imo. Idk I feel like any film adaptation is inevitably going to be a bit smaller, so it’s kind of hard to compare to stage performances, but I think her performance is great for film and I think she could absolutely nail it on stage.
