I have absolutely no perspective as to what's a good number of views anymore   I remember way back, 10's of millions was a huge deal. But now it's like if they don't hit 1 billion people freak out. Isn't twenty MILLION views a large number? Do you know how much a million is? Do you know how much a BILLION is   a billion is a thousand million! To me that feels like a ridiculous standard to hold someone too. And to me a billion views feels like a HUGE achievement. But to everyone else that's the expectation/standard? Idk I guess I'm out of touch these days

Content in YouTube has been diversified and music videos in YouTube have lost its relevance in the Western World due to streaming services. Most of the English songs today don't get as many views as before. Songs like APT and Die with a Smile smash in YouTube only because of their huge success in South Asia (particularly India) and South-east Asia, where YouTube is still relevant and milks millions of views. K-pop has a huge fan base in these regions too.

At least song is in best quality. Other people don't understand it, so we can appreciate it! I don't care how many views or streams it has, the quality matters. This is real music and art.
