You guys could just pretend DWAS isn't there.

Yall are so ridiculous. Many fans with threads calling disease a flop, complaining about how she’s treated this era not giving it proper attention. When disease is such a fan service single, not chart oriented whatsoever. And she/they wants to give her album a boost, probably because of what her own fanbase says about her and of course label decisions. It’s really not a big deal, what Gaga is good at especially the past few years is knowing what the GP want from her. They want her voice, passion in a clean simple package (million reasons, shallow, and die with a smile) plus all of her jazz with Tony.

With how chromatica went and how covid f’d it up, we know she wanted to go all out for it and unfortunately could not. She’s found a lot of peace and wants to give us an album she knows we will appreciate, but we must know some decisions she’s made with this album are not going to be GP friendly. If she wants to tackle on one huge hit song on this record, fine. She’s earned it, it’s not like this album is going to be a generic bland record like 143. If that will help other people check out the Gaga of it all then so be it, maybe we can get some other hit singles from the record.

She could have just been truthful to us.

"I'll be honest, this track wasn’t originally part of the plan. But people really loved it, and I think it deserves a place on the album. LG7 is all about chaos and genre-bending, so we decided to include it as a bonus track. It feels like the missing piece that completes the puzzle."

No need to lie.

she likes lying

I was fascinated with artifice, really, truly fascinated with it as an artistic tool. I still am.

I think it’d have been better if we just never found out about this and when she announced the tracklist it’d show “Die With A Smile (Bonus Track)”. The song is beautiful and I actually like that it has a home now even if it was released as a standalone and started as Bruno’s.

You guys do realise that Gaga spoke about LG7 during the Chromatica ball film premiere too, no?

Even there she hinted at genre bending again, not just dark pop.

DWAS is an adult contemporary snoozefest. Could care less if the GP likes it. Too bad she took a track off LG7 to include it.

She was truthful to us. In the beginning, DWAS wasn't part of the plan so she openly said to us that it was a standalone single. After realising how Disease underperformed, she has decided to add that to LG7 to save her album.

Do u expect her to say "Yeah my actual lead single has flopped but I need to save my album somehow so I'm adding DWAS to it" :koons:You are supposed to understand her situation.

If Brown Eyes or Yoü and I didn't affect the cohesion of their respective albums, DWAS won't affect the cohesion of LG7 either.

That's disappointing. I don't expect that kind of move from her. It's very charts not the arts. She initially said it was a standalone.

Definitely..She already makes enough money with makeup, drug deals and movies. I was hoping the focus would be on the quality of the album, not appealing to MOR soccer moms.

You're still going to get the "quality" tracks including DWAS. It's just 1 song added. It was a big collab moment for her too so why not.

Are people now suddenly going to pretend DWAS is not a high quality song? Come on. You might not like it, but it is a very good song. Grow up
