Rose or the Paris post? I think it's safe to say we're getting a promo single in the upcoming weeks someone has to try and repeat a flowers moment anyway and I think that interscope are smart enough to capitalize on that with album being 2 months away.

Mr.s has been surprisingly silent recently has any one checked on him?? Any way we should be getting light teases here an there after christmas.

Well it is literally in the article

Ok, after the first shock (n the fear that she change her vision n what she told)

In business terms this move will send the album with rocket number 9 to the planet.. to the planet..  🚀 😅

So.. let it be. for the album's best

Where’s the Gesaffelstein confirmation?

Near the end:

"I loved making “Harlequin.” I loved collaborating with all the DJs and Gesaffelstein on my new album. I loved learning about industrial music and about all the different crevices of electronic music, and then I loved working with Bruno. One of the things I’ve probably been judged for in my career was not sticking to one thing. But not sticking to one thing is my life force."

Oh goodness I totally overlooked that. Thank you!

Sje just secured success for the album and now she's free to take the artistic direction she wants with this record, let her cook now, 2025 seems like an amazing year to be a Little Monster

10000%.

LG7 will probably be her most successful pop album since BTW in terms of SPS because of DWAS. And it will be full of dark pop industrial bangers (we hope) for us fans AND the biggest song of the career to snatch numbers and the GP.

It's a genius move. She wins artistically and commercially.

I don’t care about cohesiveness of the music.

What’s upsetting is that we have another mess of an era on our hands. The era stared in August and we didn’t even know it? What’s the lead single? What’s the album aesthetic? Dark avant garde or colourful 70s fashion?

They’ll 100% perform DWAS at the Grammys and we’ll have to wait even longer for a dance pop performance

Disease is the lead single. Die With A Smile was a standalone single that now will be included on LG7. Think of it as promo single I guess. It’s as simple as that.

The lead is Disease.

The aesthetic will most likely be darker—like Disease.

Considering she's doing Coachella and other festivals, we won't have to wait much longer for a dance-pop performance. And you know she's gonna go all-out with the production for Coachella and stuff.

All you dorks saying it won't fit on the album when Speechless, Brown Eyes, Dope, Angel Down, You and I and so many more equally structured ballads are tossed into her other albums too....

She's literally been doing this since The Fame. Do you guys even listen to her? :alsemanche:

to be fair, those songs were written with the respective albums in mind...it's not that surprising for a pop album to have a slower song or two in there.

DWAS was not intended to be on the album. so ofc adding it now feels like a purely strategic move and not like "the missing part of the album" which she is claiming...

Stop the music, Start the drama.

Can't believe there's people mad at this. It's only obvious. And we have Speechless in TFM and You and I in BTW. So I don't see any problem lmao. Monsters are really negative with everything Gaga does. I understand why she has distanced from us.

I don't think there's anybody in here mad for the simple fact of adding a ballad, but for the change on the plans

A lot of people here forgot that Lady Gaga is a mainstream artist working in the music INDUSTRY and that has a Label to answer to. She’s not indie, she can’t just do whatever she wants. She’s an employee working for company trying to MAXIMIZE profits off their product (LG7). And, as much of a surprise it is to y’all, Lady Gaga is a brand that sells products. Why wouldn’t the brand want to get as much profit as they can? It’s the literal job: to sell and make money. I know a lot of y’all might be jobless and not understand the world of employment, but it is what it is. Don’t like Gaga’s team making commercial decisions? Stop stanning Gaga and look for an indie girlie to stan.
