Regardless of fans desire she' still lady gaga and she still has a legacy to preserve, both artistically and commercially. 

Why would she pass on this opportunity? Just for the album to do worse because some fans aren't happy about the inclusion?

In the future nobody will remember all this discussion, but they will remember how DWAS, the biggest song in the world is on LG7, and they will remember the success of LG7. 

 

This is all about legacy, and I'm very happy they did it.

I swear, you guys think you know Gaga’s album better than she does. Do you think this means it’ll take up a spot from another song or something? Like, I’m genuinely trying to understand why anyone would have a serious issue with this. Because this is only a good thing imo. DWAS is great and obviously hugely successful, this’ll be great for LG7 in terms of its commercial success, which apparently so many of y’all care about.

Exactly my thought. Shes been insisting very very very much on this over 3 last interviews. Associating chaos with the genre liberation. But i don't know why She Tries so hard as its pretty clear.

Given that she specifically labeled DWAS as a standalone single and as something to tide the fans over until LG7, I think it’s pretty safe to assume it was a last minute decision.

I’m fine with DWAS being on the album, but I’m confused about it being the “missing piece” to the album. Huh like really? Idk. I just find the song to be so cheesy.

I get that people are upset that they believe the artistic concept of the album may be “compromised” by adding DWAS, but the album isn’t even out yet. There are most likely songs (like Brooklyn Nights and Mary Jane Holland) that she’s still trying to figure out placement or not. The album ain’t finished yet!

Tbh for a Feb release the album's been sent to press by now especially with the holiday window.

So the album's absolutely finished unless she drops LG7 The Anthology on release day lol
