Ariana Grande doesn’t see herself returning to music anytime soon

we didnt think we would get an album before wicked and she said we wouldnt and then she dropped ES, so im hoping its that kinda situation - cuz as much as i love move star ari, music is truly where she shines 

yes she killed it as glinda but its cuz that roles right up her alley, im not sure she would do as well with a serious/non musical  acting role - cuz glindas camp and has a lot of musical aspects to her.

I wouldn't be surprised if she tries for a broadway role tbh, she loves musical theatre.

I'm happy for her!  It's always awesome to see someone excited about something new.

Gaga was a sensation in A Star is Born, widespread critical acclaim and an Oscar nomination (and, obviously, a win for songwriting). House of Gucci and FaD weren't very good, but her performances in both were singled out as a highlight. She doesn't play it safe.

Personally, I don't see Ariana's acting having the range and bravery that Gaga does, but let's see what she does next.

for supporting actress, gaga was nominated for BEST actress in a main role, her competition was fiercer, if glenn wasnt gonna win, it was gonna be another vet 

arianas competition in her category isnt that fierce and she had the best performance out of all of them TBH

The only odd part about all this is she doesn't appear to have any upcoming film projects. So it's not as if she's speaking in tangible terms. 

I mean, unless she's saying that she's going to focus on auditioning for the near future.

I also find it disingenuous when she says she dreams of doing Broadway again. Because she could any day of her life phone a Broadway producer and be cast in Wicked, Moulin Rouge, & Juliet etc. if she really wanted it. Anyone would want her on Broadway. She'd pack houses.

I’d be very surprised if she wins it tbh. Not that she isn’t good, quite the opposite. She handles the role well, but her character arc has MUCH more depth in part 2.
