The Chromatica Ball drove her into a new creative space, reverting her back to the dark edgy Gaga we all fell in love with. With the Chromatica Ball finally ending with the film, it was a chance to signal the next beginning. She had previously stated that Chromatica was the end of the beginning for her (if I recall correctly). It's poetic and intentional with many clues, in a way we haven't seen her in a long, long time. Plus she just did “Highway to Hell” on Carpool and has been mentioning hell all pre-era, as well as chaos.
