I do not care about the numbers and charts tbh ( I am sure she makes most of hers out of tours and other ventures. ) I am happy she seems to be in a phase where she is looked at in the Industry as someone who can and has the right to do what the fok she wants. I hope LG7 is 100 percent pure Like Burqua demo in the place of Aura. I wish for her to be happy and make me excited with un-sweetened version of what she really desires it to be Edited December 14 by CookieHWilson I am stoned but punctilious nonsequitur 1
Future Lovers 6,513
Every artist is promo sensitive. But promo has shifted from being on talk shows and in magazines to things that don't stand out to the naked eye as promotion. Kendrick, Taylor, Beyonce, etc, all promote their work heavily but it isn't as noticeable as it maybe was once upon a time.

It's obvious that her team decided to hold the album back after they saw the final cut of J:FAD in the late spring. They then rolled out DWAS before the movie released to keep her mainstream image intact, and then dropped Disease as a promo lead after J:FAD released to sandwich the movie with another single (this time aimed at keeping her fanbase image intact). Now they're using the christmas freeze to let the rest of the J:FAD press completely dry up. Everyone loves to play little manager and speculate on what she should've/could've done with every release, but as far as I'm concerned Bobby navigated this year like a f*cking pro. I love this, but sadly I really don’t believe her team thought this one through as much as you had. Her rollouts this year have been a mess (but hey, I’ve still bloody enjoyed EVERYTHING she’s put out - I will stan her art through and through). Disease’s chart performance has proven that. My theory is that they just released whatever they wanted and waited to see if it would stick. If it did stick, throw more promo at it (DWAS). If not (JFAD, Harlequin, Disease), try promoting it (if Gaga was passionate about it like Harlequin), give it a bit of time for the dust to settle, and then move onto the next thing. Kendrick started that massive beef with Drake, Taylor masterfully uses the media to promote her relationship, and Beyonce makes sure her image is everywhere (Mufasa premiere, Super Bowl commercials, etc). ok but gaga's face was literally everywhere during both asib and also now joker ... so many ads and posters

This is something we blame the label for They’re not invested in her anymore No, we can blame Joker. As soon Interscope, Gaga, and Bobby recognized that the film would be polarizing, they didn’t want a bunch of negative press with Gaga’s name attached (even if the reviews aren’t criticizing her specifically) ruining her lead single. Disease is a song that fans can appreciate, and then they can save the song they want to be a hit until January when most people will forget about the film reviews. Also, as previously stated, it’s better for Gaga to not have the holidays interrupt the album push with the GP. Consider Disease as an appetizer for fans. They want to condense all the major GP promo to hit them hard.

I believe for all releases she tries to change it up, not do the same promo formula that she has done before. Give it time. 2025 is going to be huge. Yes that was me who started this thread and I was attacked by unstable Regina Georges breeds saying I was crazy. "And I still love you even if I can't see you anymore." JoeCool 197
Could the answer be as simple as it's just not something she enjoys doing at all.
