Bobina 2,030
Ariana's album ain't all that and a bag of chips "634 blowjobs in 5 days. I'm really quite tired."

DrKindnessKunt1999 6,039
I feel like Ariana’s promotion of “Yes, and?” could have been done more clearly. The way she promoted that song made it seem like the whole album was going to be a 90s house inspired album, instead of it being what it actually is. Angel of my Dreams is one of the best songs released in 2024. Even the remixes are bops. I can’t wait to hear the whole album. Hopefully, there’s more songs that sound like they could be 5 songs in 1.

River 115,137
If you remove the trap songs in Eternal Sunshine, the album could have been the best album this year. brat is my biggest surprised this year, I hated it first listen, club classics gave me a migraine and I stopped the albm, but now it's one of my favorite songs this year best album of the year is hit me hard and soft, it's the album that made me understand Billie. Sabrina started as a promised, but then the payola kicked and now I can't stand her. Chappell, she might be talented, but she's not gonna make it in this industry unfortunately. So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy
StrawberryBlond 14,776
- Brat is the most overrated album of the year. It sounds just like what Charli's been making for years, so why are critics suddenly going crazy over it now? Very sparse lyrics, very basic lyrics, beats I've heard before, nowhere near as rave-y as it was made out to be. - The Tortured Poet's Department is a bloated mess that is ridiculously pretentious and out of all the Taylor albums to go insane over, this was not it. - Sabrina's success won't last long, she's had far too much extreme success out of the blue to replicate this next time and has all the makings of an artist who's going to have a major breakthrough and then be forgotten about. - I really didn't think Radical Optimism was that bad and was just about as good as Future Nostalgia, but a lot of people were acting as if it was a major step down. - Hit Me Hard And Soft was decent but still a let down, after her previous album which was her best yet. - Ariana's latest work is mediocre and has been for some time. More to the point, it was extremely uncomfortable to hear her sing an entire album about Ethan, who left his family to be with her. Why critics are still fawning over her despite all the homewrecking stuff in her lyrics is questionable. - DWAS is good but overrated, it's just too safe for me. Grateful for its hit status, though. - This was a really bad year for music, barely any albums charted above average in my mind.

I mean, yay for success but it has one stream from me 5 hours ago, Red said: I don’t understand why Birds of a Feather became such a huge hit when there are better songs in the album (like, Chiriro was right there) 4 hours ago, Morphine Prince said: It’s the most GP friendly and with tons of replay value. It’s also different for Billie because she’s belting and people are finally a lot of casual listeners are coming around to the idea that she’s a great singer. The sonic hook (not a real term but you know what I mean) it has is also incredibly infectious. I'm not a Billie stan by any means, I streamed the album when it came out but fell back into my old listening habits pretty quick. A couple weeks ago a YouTuber used BOAF for the end screen on their video and I was like "I know this song what is it". Shazamed it and had to add it to my work playlist Honestly that whole album is great. 💅Too cute to be this overworked and underf*cked💅
culturalbaptism 2,916
Gaga is still playing safe even with Disease. Brat started with not caring at all but after its success she started caring even with the "I don't care" act. Katy Perry is completely out of touch with the times. Taylor Swift finally alienated the general public with the ridiculous era she put out, she should have stayed quiet with the last album being Midnights witch is great and liked. Judas is coming, let the cultural baptism begin.
Bronco 10,233
Harlequin was a good album but I'm bored of Gaga doing traditional Jazz covers and showing minimal creativity with the mixes when we know what she is capable of. Eternal Sunshine deserved more success and attention than it got. But equally, I feel like Ari's last 4 albums have all sounded interchangeable minus 1 or 2 tracks and I'm bored. Lots of artists had a massive year this year that is just not going to be replicated by the next era. Sabrina, Chappell & Charli being the biggest examples of this. TTPD needed an edit, but was generally better than people give it credit for. Anyone thinking Taylor's hit oversaturation with the General public though are just out of touch with the general public she will always release music that will be popular and inoffensive for the GP. Brat is a good album, I came around on it. But it is overrated and a lot of its success is a fad where it became the must have look (which is why she could never quite get the chart numberd actual fans expected).
