Future Lovers 6,589
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour team put in the work — and she rewarded them generously. Over the past two years, Swift gave out $197 million in bonuses to everyone working on her tour — including truck drivers, caterers, instrument techs, merch team, lighting, sound, production staff and assistants, carpenters, dancers, band, security, choreographers, pyrotechnics, riggers, hair, make-up, wardrobe, physical therapists and video team — PEOPLE confirms. In August 2023, as Swift wrapped the first North American leg of the tour, PEOPLE confirmed she’d given out more than $55 million in bonuses. On Sunday, Dec. 8, Swift, 34, took the stage at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver for her final show of the Eras Tour, which kicked off in Glendale, Ariz., in March 2023. Future Lovers 6,589
Between this, the donations she and the tour made to a food bank and/or charity in every city the tour stopped in, and the local businesses who made money each weekend off the shows, a lot of people benefited from this tour. I know a lot of people, especially here, really don’t like her but honestly, she’s proven herself rather generous. She puts her money where her mouth is often. Not to mention, anyone who’s ever met or worked with her has nothing but kind things to say. To be such a polarizing figure, she certainly seems to be a rather kind and generous one. I hope her team and crew get some well deserved rest. Putting this show together 149 times around the world for almost 2 years is no small feat, and I hope they all are proud of it! I hope they enjoy going back to their families and enjoy the well earned rewards for their efforts. 14 7
Divine 1,606
Where are the unstable Regina Georges of this site witch-hunting Taylor? Slay for this Taylor! "And I still love you even if I can't see you anymore." 5
weed 71,833
Almost 20,000 people could've got a $10k bonus! or more or less depending on how many people. Love that, they helped her make history and she returned a bit of the favor.

Which is crazy when you compare it to the avg US salary which is $63.8k. The salaries aren't public knowledge but I'm willing to bet her dancers are probably the best paid dancers for any tour going. I know all of the female dancers got given thousands of dollars worth of beauty products for the tour like lipstick etc & that as a collective they all got vouchers for various physio treatment centers etc. 1
bionic 45,161
Its lifechanging amounts of money. A lot of these people will raise their kids/grandkids to know that Taylor changed their lives for the better with a small token gesture. I wouldn't be surprised if some name their future kids/grandkids after Taylor– especially as its a unisex name! This is the power that generosity has. A lot of our faves could learn from this. stream ritacadabra 9

Honestly i've always judged singers by their touring members & dancers. The ones that can maintain relationships with band members, stage producers, dancers etc for long periods of time are definitely ones you know are good to work with. And then the ones who change every tour are more likely to be divas. Like P!nk who's worked with the same lead guitarist Justin for well over a decade, closer to 2 at this point. As well as having regularly worked with the same backing singers, bassist, pianist/show producer and a number of her dancers (like Jeremy).

Yeah I've followed P!nk's career throughout time and she's had a lot of her band and crew for over 20 years now.
