Healthcare was an issue I really wished was brought up more in the presidential debates and what mattered to people.

It's been one of the main issues/talking points since the 1990s. It's just that the right's only policy is "undo everything Democrats do" and it's hard to have a debate when every proposal is met with ".......nu uh" :rip:

Social Media Has Little Sympathy for Murdered Health Insurance Exec

Across social media, the response to the killing of UnitedHealthcare's CEO was contemptuous of the industry he represented

Well duh :laughga:

Maybe this'll be a reminder to the powerful that before all this civilized debate and freedom discourse, people used to just drag their bosses or rich people out into the street, beat them to death, or behead them.

While I don't condone murder personally, we'll collectively make a hero out of anyone that puts a billionaire in the ground 'cause they casually put thousands of us in the ground daily :laughga:

Why should I have sympathy for someone who has made millions off of the suffering of other people? Maybe I’m the crazy one here but I do not care that this man is dead. I have no sympathy for him. I see no value in the life he was leading.

I’m not going to sit here and say that everyone should go out and kill anyone they don’t like. But I don’t know why people are trying to pretend that this dude wasn’t objectively evil and actively making the world a worse place. Like have you looked into how he led that company and what sorts of evil things he was fully in support of doing?

Murder is not justice.  What if this was your father or brother?  And it isn't like this will change health insurance policy or lower premiums.

If my father or brother was doing the kind of things that man was doing, I would be relieved they weren’t here to hurt anyone anymore. And before you ask me like you did that other person, yes I have lost members of my family. My dad’s death was one of the best things that ever happened to me. Why? Because he was evil, and he hurt people, and I am relieved he is gone.

Like I said above, I’d never advocate or encourage people to go out and kill people as an act of vigilante justice, but at the same time I’m not going to pretend that I care that this man is no longer with us. I do not mourn evil people.

I am sorry for the bystander that had to witness it. I am sorry for the many hundreds of millions of people that this man’s evil has impacted. Those are the only groups involved here deserving of any sort of sympathy.
