It's hard to tell 'cause they're tracking the planes, not the celebrities themselves. Elon Musk and Taylor Swift are both on this list twice with two separate planes

I do think that Gaga has other investments so that's maybe the reason why she took so many flights.

I do think it's not ethical for the super rich to be using private jets, but then again the US spans a huge area, with no high speed rail and terrible airports. Whatever the reasons, the kind of carbon footprint accumulated by one person is just crazy through the use of private jets.

Seems like that's a plenty reasonable solution that eliminates the need for private jets

While I necessarily don’t disagree, I’ve been in airports with big celebrities before and it’s been chaotic. Hundreds of screaming and stampeding people, paparazzi and the last time, it caused huge lines and delays for everyone to get through customs. It can be stressful and dangerous for the staff and people around, let alone the celebrity and their team flying with them. I know some airlines drive first/suite class people straight to the tarmac, via a private terminal, avoiding the main terminal - maybe more should do that to help encourage less private jet use.

I also remember hearing about how Apple’s CEO would fly commercial but the board of directors contractually have forced only private due to security and time concerns, since for a lot of these people their time is more valuable than fitting around commercial schedules, obviously in spite of the environmental impact.
