Deserved

Houdini is really the best song on this album, really good lead single choice

The album would have tanked without it. Even with it its success was just moderate.

Its one of her Top 5 songs

If it was Gaga on the #1st spot, you would be gagging, but now it's fraudulent and payola lmao

Dua, outside of Twitter, is a successful artist. Yes her album sell less compared to her "FN" album but it doesn't mean that it was a flop and that she disapeared form the scene. I live in France, and personally I heard more this song at the TV shows and radios than any other hit songs like "Lunch", "Good luck babe" or "Fortnight".

It's a great pop song btw :holdmyhand:

I'm here to take a break from university homeworks :/

Yup, cause Gaga makes no boring song like this one :reductive: (well, maybe a couple here and there but never released as a single :ladyhaha:)

And yes, I am team #payola for this song (despite I loved FN)

Yeah, she's huge in Europe, just this year I've been to France, Austria, Finland and Estonia, as well as my home nation, the UK, and have heard her music playing on the radio or in stores in all five countries.

and yet it’s nowhere near 1 billion streams on Spotify, the market is so scattered these days

It's only radio playing her songs, but streaming numbers and units are tragic for her latest album in those countries too... :haroon:

Great for her! Both Houdini and Training Session was in Apple Music top 50 in many countries since release. She may not have had the success she hoped for but these songs have longevity. I love both more than anything on Future Nostalgia.

Are there two different versions of Dance The Night that got success?

Really surprising. I'm not sure what radio channels I have been avoiding at all costs, but I have legitimately never heard this song on the radio or in public at all unless I was the one playing it.
