Taylor is not the biggest artist of this century so far. She hasn't peaked as big as Adele globally and hasn't peaked as big as Gaga in some parts of the world. She has scored four smash hits from 2010-2023, while struggling to have a hit off her current album this year. She has released 15 well-promoted studio albums (11 + re-releases) and has just reached 200M while Adele has reached 100M with four releases. It doesn't take a genius to see who the public's fave is. Sure, she's got a large following and the biggest this decade but it's this decade. 

To claim she's the biggest artist in the world because of her US stats is just stupid. Outside of the US since the year 2000 there have been many "Taylor's" in different years. I think the biggest artist from a commercial stand point this century so far has got to be Adele. Taylor is somewhere on the list but I don't think she's above Britney Spears. She's massive right now but streaming makes it way easier to look big when you're on THAT level of success. THAT level has been reached by the ones I mentioned but they all lacked units from most of the world because of peaking pre-streaming. In other words, if streaming was around since 2000 you'd have seen Britney, Adele, Gaga, Eminem and others occupy the entire top 10 on the Hot 100 long before Taylor and you'd probably see Eminem have beaten Taylor's calendar year sales as well since he was close to despite being in the physical era. Yes, Taylor is one of the biggest of this century but there were others equally as big.

traylor can have the most sales all she wants 

but the talent does not match the numbers and she will  NOT be remembered once someone else bigger comes and beats her numbers.
