Nobody thinks the release of hostages is a bad thing. But its obvious that the plan is to escalate the war in order to get the hostages when there is other ways of getting hostages back. Not to mention that most of these hostages will die (like they already did) if they start bombing Gaza more. 2 hours ago, howsAnnie said: Where are the users who were constantly saying Kamala and Trump are both equally bad for the Middle East? I'd really like to hear their opinion now. Trump literally said he's gonna help Israel get the job done once he's in office. So yeah, surprise! Thank you, America. I think both will help Israel get the job done, and give them the green light to do whatever they want, but with different rhetoric
OMF 3,677
Idiot!!! As far as I can tell, only our neighbors to the north and south and the western part of Europe even really care about/rely on us anymore and Dumpy wants to make enemies with them so Not like it changes much here, I guess. The US is the richest nation in the world but Americans live like it's a developing nation. I can't even afford to go to the doctor lmao It seems like increasingly this is the norm in more and more developed Nations... Whether its the US, Canada, UK, Australia, France etc u can see the locals complain about deteriorating quality of life, countless vids on youtube about how its becoming a 3rd world country etc (granted some of the vids are dramatic and extra) I think one basic thing is clear and obvious almost everywhere. Not only is income and wealth inequality getting worse and worse in most Nations... but even in Nations where inequality is not as extreme as in the US the fact remains that modern society becomes more and more expensive and incomes are not keeping up Tho incomes have technically grown even inflation adjusted... inflation only measures changes in ur phone bill. It doesnt factor in that 30 years ago an entire family could share 1 phone but now every member has to have their own to be connected whether they like it or not. Inflation also might track change in internet costs but doesnt factor in that 25 years ago it was a luxury but now its a necessity The line between getting wealthier as a society and having more stuff vs that stuff just becoming necessities to function in 21st century and therefore are bills not discretionairy spending anymore is a very blurred line to how many economists view things and why as were getting richer in a way were getting poorer Income gains in bottom 70% have been just enough to keep us surviving and chugging along with increase costs from increased demands of modern socoery and it seems to be that way in almost every nation. Its definitely true here in Canada as well and its true in Portugal where I was from as well I wonder how ppl in scandinavia feel as it has long been seen as the developed part of the world with most generous safety nets and equality

Nukes would be way too overpowered for such a small area, there's no way Israel would sign off on a nuke being detonated that close. The payload of the nuclear warhead would have to be miniscule and they'd likely need multiple ones to enable them to do anything. It'd be possible to do so, but the cost & effort and resources it'd take are ridiculous be far quicker/easier/effective to just carpet bomb the entire strip (which is something they would do lets be real). Imagine a chain of real estate all throughout the prettiest places there. He's always looking for a quick buck. He also has to play to his base and there's still a lot of ignorant anti-Muslim sentiment in the US lingering from post-9/11 hysteria. A lot of Americans don't know Iraq from Iran, let alone Gaza from anywhere else in the ME. Whimsical bitch
