"I think I was on the Internet too much, and I think that really hurt me. Then I got off the Internet".

Well when will ALL CELEBS OUT THERE understand that? Them reading comments online is crazy to me, they're only hurting themselves, nothing more.

sexy

She's 100% right tho, I think this album is actually v similar to ARTPOP in that it greatly suffered by being mis-marketed and misinterpreted

It was a horrible decision to release "i luv it" as the first single cuz that 1) turned a ton of people off and 2) left the impression that's what the whole album would sound like, when it's legit the only song on the album of that variety

that + the fact she called it "C,XOXO" (xcx anyone?) really made the album seem like something it isn't – which, imo, is actually a really solid pop record from an artist who has actually sought to evolve her sound with each of her albums (which is what pop stans say they want/expect?) but has instead been raked over the coals for some shitty things she said when she was 15 – even as clearly most people on this site have forgiven Gaga for legitimately (and knowingly) choosing to work with R. Kelly, give Nicki Minaj a pass, continue to support Kim Petras and Katy Perry despite continued collaboration with Dr. Luke, etc.

I'm not even a huge Camila Cabello stan, but the hate train against her reminds me so much of what we went through during the ARTPOP era. pretty when i cry is such a ****ing bop, that's what she should've led with
