Rank Gaga’s 2024 original songs

How would you rank Gaga’s three original song releases this year? I know technically Folie a Deux is also an original track, but personally it feels more like a score piece than an actual track.

 

For me:

1. Disease

2. Happy Mistake

3. Die With a Smile

But at the same time ranking them like this implies that there's a huge difference in quality and I don't think that's the case. All three tracks are some of the best of her career in my opinion!

1. Disease. This is everything I've wanted from Gaga since she started working on ARTPOP. This is what I thought that album would sound like and even if she has created some great ones, it's so great to see her finally go there. I hope it only gets better from this and it's just a small tease of even bigger songs on LG7.

2. Happy Mistake. What a gift to do this companion album and include one of her best ballads ever with those vocals.

3. Die With A Smile. A great collaboration, love it so much and instant classic.

4. Folie a Deux. It also deserves some recognition. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets ignored at the Awards shows but this was still a nice song and one of my favorite scenes from the movie.

3. Folie a Deux - arguably, one of the most unique songs she’s ever written. And I think it’s a crime that it gets often overlooked.
