Rihanna's Umbrella is built entirely over a GarageBand drum loop. The first Grimes albums too. Marina used Logic's drummer on a lot of demos to get ideas. Not to mention sampling – my favorite case being Mariah's Fantasy which is built over Tom Tom's Club Genius Of Love instruemntal. If tweaking a prompt or building over it isn't art – loops and samples and automatic drummers aren't too?
