Ellen DeGeneres moves to England following election

Following the election, plenty of people threaten to leave the country. Ellen DeGeneres is actually doing it.

The former television personality and comedian has put her home in Montecito, California up for sale and has relocated to Cotswolds, a rural area in south central England. According to TheWrap, DeGeneres has told friends that Donald Trump’s impending return to the White House is the primary motivation for the move.

It also helps that DeGeneres is largely retired from the entertainment industry after her daytime talk show ended following accusations of a toxic work environment.  source

She has retired, she is living a slow life now and why should she do that in the drama of it all - USA.

I mean, I guess some people recognize her here, but let’s be honest, you had to actively look for her content on YouTube in 2014-19. She’s not been on the tv and for the most people who have heard of her she’s just another loud American back noise person. I doubt that random people over 45 in the country side of France or Germany can tell you who she is by looking at a picture of her now
