Well, to be fair the thread was made for the cabinet appointments and even if we did make a "Donald Trump Megathread" (barf) it would still be bumped into the "Trending Now" list every time it's posted in.

I feel you guys though, I'm trying to become a low info person atm 'cause I've never felt more apathetic and disillusioned with politics in this country  

But I don't think it's reached an overbearing point here. It's like one or two threads a day max if that. You should make threads to compete with the political ones

I get it from both perspectives honestly but there's nothing we can do aside from censoring whole topics and...that's too much work

Clearly you're annoyed I asked the mods to make a megathread for the Trump appointments, but all I was trying to do was minimize the amount of Trump headlines we all see just by going to the main page. It wasn't personal, even if you're taking it that way.
