Such a waste of resources for an ugly outcome, generating just one image with AI is the equivalent of pouring out a bottle of water :rip:

To be fair, this isn't a problem with AI itself, it's a problem related to the way the technology is being handled resource-wise. This can be changed/reformed in the future, so it's not really a good argument against AI. I think AI itself has great potential to help create a more automated world that can help us reduce our necessity for doing hard labor, for example, among other things. But as everything, it needs to be developed in order to be sustainable. The fact it is not yet sustainable is not AI's fault. If you want to blame someone, blame the owners of the AI companies, but not AI.

This was an official message from the Office of the First Lady.

This is the strangest sh.it I've ever seen. Most AI videos I've seen currently all look like nightmares (except that one cherry blossoms in Japan one by SoraAI). Like this is the best visual representation of a bad dream in real life. The way faces appear everywhere and the lips teeth and tongue all interchanging and moving around in layers

Who is the facial model?

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

I think it's more important to worry about the current (and wasteful/inefficient) state of this technology and let others know the real time implications.
