Gaga in Wednesday Prediction

I loved Wednesday when it came out (and Tim Burton's return to his style) so I was really excited that they announced gaga's involvement. It inspired me to rewatch the first season again and while I was watching I noticed something that could be a possible character for gaga.

When Uncle Fester explains to Wednesday what a Hyde is he very briefly talks about someone he met and liked (Olga Malacova) in group electroshock therapy at an institute for criminally insane and says she is a Hyde. "Olga was a concert pianist, until one night she transformed in the middle of a Chopin sonata. Massacred a dozen audience members. And three music critics."

That was the only mention of that character and made me think.... also the fact that a Hyde is a monster....

Ya that would be cool too! Also her tik tok joke saying “your scary goth aunt on thanksgiving” made me think of an aunt character she could be hinting at. 
 

I guess there’s so many possibilities and characters that need to be introduced in season 2 but the one I mentioned was a newer one I noticed while watching.

I love that idea. That's actually very smart. And I think at this point we know she's definitely just doing a cameo role. Maybe one episode, a few pop-in scenes through the rest of the show if we're lucky, much like her role in AHS Roanoke. It could be even less though tbh because this has just come about as fanservice for Bloody Mary getting so big from that edit

But things I hope for are:
- That she plays something different to what we've seen her as. Maybe a more comedic/less serious character
- That she doesn't sing. It's too soon after Joker FAD that everyone would come for her neck, and also just my personal preference. 
- That she has a bigger role and is in more episodes than expected
- That she forms a bond with Tim Burton and he snags her for a role in some future movie in his signature style

I am a huge fan of Tim Burton, and I remember loving that Gaga dressed up as Edward Scissorhands for Halloween before (my favorite movie). Then I was surprised when Tim Burton posted a pic with Gaga on his Instagram after he went to her Vegas show a few years ago. So I knew they both were fans of each other. If anything, I kept wondering why they hadn’t worked together yet because his new Beetlejuice movie was Warner Bros., and so was the Joker 2 movie, so they were working for the same studio. When they announced Wednesday, I wasn’t surprised at all.

I don’t think the song going viral is the sole reason they are doing this, but it seems like a catalyst to get them to work together. Gaga incorporating more of Edward Scissorhands into her “Disease” video just shows she genuinely likes his work.

Tim Burton loves using the same people in his movies, and although her part in Wednesday might be a smaller cameo, I don’t think this will be the last time they work together.

Also, another thing I want to add is that Tim Burton has done 2 music videos before for The Killers. Although I am not a huge fan of those music videos, it would be a cool idea because she has used a movie director for her “Rain on Me” video in the past (Robert Rodriguez).

I think it’s bigger than a cameo, probably more a guest star. She was over there like an entire week. She’ll have one episode where she’s moderately featured, like the Fester episode in S1

Very interesting theory. I've never watched the show properly so can't speculate. Maybe that line was said with her in mind for the future or it's just a reference that'll never be delved into. I could totally see them making her a femme fatale character too, complete with massive hat, sunglasses and cigarette holder.

This is all sounding so promising! I really hope that she's in one of the episodes he directs so they can meet properly
