I..think this is a good idea (even if it involves singing).

Twitter isn't real life, of course, but JFAD is still kind of attached to her and Joaquin (even if Todd shouldered the blame by film twitter and most of the GP). She needs to move away from it.

A campy cameo will at least distance herself more from JFAD in the eyes of GP. And yes, it's not going to help her being taken seriously as an actress, but part of the problem is film critics "think" Gaga takes herself too seriously (despite tons of other actors giving theater kid quotes).

So this will show she knows how to have "fun" at least to the critics, and put a little more distance from JFAD in the eyes of the GP. Also, apparently Wednesday is almost done filming season 2....so there's a possibility this comes out in March (esp. if they are literally in the last few weeks of filming). That could definitely help give Gaga a bit of a boost with LG7 if it comes out in late February.

Also, they started filming in April of 2024 and are apparently pretty much done (which makes sense, it doesn't really take more than 5-6 months for a TV show).

I really doubt Nefflix is going to wait until September of 2025 y'all. That would be nearly an entire year from when they wrapped filming. It could definitely come out in the late spring of 2025, but September?

edit: It kinda sucks that Gaga has to cop the flack for Joker2 when she wasn't even the director. Some of the comments are already quite negative regarding the news of Gaga joining the show agh.

I guess I really underestimated the damage JFAD did. The amount of hate from people who legit think she was the one who made that movie what it was is completely unhinged and really frustrating. It probably shouldn't bum me out this much but it's just sad when she's so talented and puts so much work into everything.
