He has control over most governmental bodies, he'd going to eliminate term limits.

Wrong.  Trump will not control 2/3 of the house and senate or 3/4 of the state legislatures.  It will be impossible for Trump to change term limits.  As I stated above, any constitutional amendment requires 3/4 of the state legislatures/conventions to approve the ammendment.  The republicans do not control 3/4 of the state legislatures to get this done.  Besides there would likely be some/many republicans who would not be in favor of this, because it swings both ways.  In the future, a democrat could be president for more than 2 terms.  This type of ammendment has 0% chance of ever getting passed.

It's (more or less) official, he is going to try and repeal the 22nd.

He could get it through Congress if he rigs enough elections but there is 0% it will be ratified by the states

If he runs again as an "official act", isn't he technically allowed because of that thing they approved where he can't be persecuted for anything official he does while in office?

Candidacy isn’t an official responsibility of the president under the Constitution. The only way the “official act” theory applies to him serving another term would be something more like him suspending elections for national security reasons and then staying in office indefinitely.

No need for prosecution, the Constitution is simple– he isn't eligible. It would take a grand conspiracy to override that and if that was successful then democracy is dead anyway lol

Health wise I don't know if he'll manage 4 whole years but I guess Biden did.

In the US you can only serve two terms?

Only one president served 3 terms (Roosevelt)

Did the law change after that or what? :oprah:
