I guess what bothers me about the way she acts is that it feels so condescending.  Like... You're petting THE Martha Stewart, as if she's an unadopted elder dog or something 😭. It reminds me of those "active listening" folk who seem to care more about showing their reactions to what you're saying rather than actually listening to what you're saying.

The way Drew's intimate interviewing style would creep the **** out of me and make me very uncomfortable, but at the same time I would rest my head in her lap let her pet me like a cat
