Billboard is an industry publication that reports on news in the industry, and they are not a tabloid. While she may not be happy its being reported and is entitled to express her opinion, its legitimate news I think.

I love Chappell, however I feel somewhat frustrated that with everything going on in the world just now she’s choosing to comment on stuff like this. Makes it more difficult to sympathise  Chappell, there are people that are dying

The part of me that supports this current state of our society hates this about her. The other part of me that wants the society to change for the better is loving it.

I feel like the mental health thing even is some sort of gaslighting tbh. She may be overwhelmed of her overnight success and the way GP has chosen her to be the next thing but I feel like she is much more aware of the toll society and everyone in it can put on you if you suddenly become famous and literally a brand everyone wants to be associated with so they get their own share. And she has every right to not feel good about it but she ends up being told that she is the problem and she may be have a mental health issue. At the same time she could just stinch herself back together and oppress her feelings but you know, she's Gen Z and queer and I know that we least we want to do is stay put and just accept the negatives when it is clearly only benefitting the status quo. I feel like she clearly wants to challenge it and see's those interactions as a form of breaking barriers but it comes off as either being an annoying part of her character or as if she's choosing the wrong battles.

I dont think thats the main reason. Shes only recently gotten more main stream attention and most of the GP has not known about her "attitude" well and long enough to be turned off enough by it to impact a songs performance I dont think

 

Going forward it may affect her more. But for Good Luck Babe I dont think it was much of a factor

True, but they are definitely drawing attention to personal drama with that caption.
