Yeah I don’t think she’s this angry woman who gets mad at everything, I genuinely think she’s overwhelmed and is probably quite confused and frustrated by everything suddenly being out of her control and doesn’t really know what to do, so she just does what she thinks she should lol. I think people on her team need to make sure she’s aware of everything and how it works, and everyone else needs to realise how fast this change was for her

Not even trying to battle on the front lines for her lol, I just think people are judging her too quickly, and also judging her entire personality on actions that are made when possibly stressed and disoriented.

I don’t think she’s just a sour personality. It feels like there’s something else to it and she’s being misunderstood. 

But then again she could definitely just be an angry person lol.

edit: also I believe she’s publicly stated that she had BPD? If so, then that makes all this even more understandable, on top of everything else

On one hand, this news was bound to get out, so not sure why should would be mad about this. And as someone already said, Billboard didn’t exactly break this.

 

On the other hand, people are choosing to zoom in on this on this unnecessarily and get into a hissy fit over it.

She's so annoying  Its a music news website, they report on musicians careers moves and changing management aint nothing wild. She wasnt even tagged on the text nor the pic, so she saw it and commented, only fueling the comments everyone makes about her (that make her mad). She couldve just ignored the post and no one would give a shit? Like, do we care that an artist changes management? Nope. We are just talking about her being annoying and not about the change and its only because she decided to comment

Poignant details: Gaga cried cos she felt betrayed. The split is not her decision.  She felt dumped, taken advantage of, and worthless for it. And not because the news were breaking that she and troy have split. She never blame any media for reporting the news. And she certainly never commented "you suck for this" or something along that lone in any social media accounts of these trades.

And she again didn't mind when the news broke that she moved from WME to CAA agency to smoothen her acting career few years after this. 
 

Chappell gets upset at media on this news for what exactly? Especially when in past, more detailed, coverage, it has been known she is the one who want to change management. Which is different situation than Gaga-Troy. 

It's industry standards to report management move like this. It will help people in the show business to be updated on it, if they haven't already. And more often than not, the artist's new management would be the one asking for this coverage to make it official.

People get so pressed when A WOMAN knows her worth and STAUNCHLY defends herself from any and self-perceived injustices. Clearly she has the energy for it and she has every right to defend and call out when she sees it. Let the woman figure this all out and be proud of her for calling out all the toxic BS in this industry. I think she's brilliant, brave and courageous. Unfortunately those qualities aren't nearly as prized in women as they are in Men.

look i love her, but this is not a case of her defending herself, this is literally news they usually report about ALL artists, it's a part of doing business. 

And the article wasn't even shading her, just reporting facts.

 

She needs to be unbothered by stuff like this or her life will turn into living hell.

You lost me at "She Needs...". You're dictating what is best for a person you don't know. You're not her lover, spouse, parent or friend. Chappell is her own person, figuring out her new found fame on her own timeline and her own terms. Her journey is hers. Yours is yours. No one needs or wants to be dictated how they should behave. Everyone knows that the best way to learn is by making their own mistakes and growing from them. Yet everyone is so obsessed with critiquing people when they make them (mistakes).

sorry but she def needs to be unbothered by stuff like this because its literally the job of these publications reporting on the news and she IS news. 

If she wants to keep going down this road it's her choice but episodes like this are NOT a good look.

Why are you asking me? I'm not Chappel. I stated "self-perceived injustices".

I'm proud of Chappell for staunchly advocating for herself when she feels slighted. I'm not going to assume why Chappell feels attacked by Billboard nor do I care. I support her in being vocal when she feels the need to speak out. Whether she's in the "right" or "wrong" is inconsequential to me. The overarching theme and character traits that I admire in her is this: she sticks up for herself, she's very protective over her inner child and she models to girls and women that they have a voice and they can and should use it.
