Y'all need to stop acting like this is some super secret top leaked info when it's just how business works. When an artist changes management, all big agencies (like Billboard) are notified about the change, so they would know how to contact them in the future. And most likely, they told Billboard to run the story.

This is is basic entertainment reporting. TMZ reporting that someone is pregnant before they wish to announce it is a violation of rights, and pretty shitty. This is just, well, news

I used to bump chappel everyday but the barrier separating artist and the actual person she is, is getting thin. Thats not to interpreted in a parasocial lens, but in a way that if I knew a person in the real world like her I would describe them as very negative and condescending. She chose this career and catered it to be successful, and now that shes on top she feels like people should bend to her comfort zone but when the push comes to shove, it’s show business. You can’t control what happens but you can control how you react and that’s something I’m afraid isn’t clicking for her. Feminist and pro-celebrity mental health concerns beside, she’s still an entitled brat. Go serve back to servings burgers if this sucks girl

It will sound stupid to anyone who doesn’t experience it directly, but honestly, exactly this.
Imagine people judging you, undermining you, and thinking there’s a second reason or motivation behind every action you take in your normal everyday life, which is exactly what happens to women, and then ALSO having articles written about your decisions, regardless of whether the article is a normal thing to report or not.

There are some women who it will just be overwhelming for. We already have to deal with so much, and are expected to do/say the ‘right’ things at all times. [insert the speech from Barbie lol]. I can imagine that it would be really difficult for some. Not saying that she should or shouldn’t have said this, but I can understand why she might’ve.
Everyone’s different, and you don’t know what you’d actually be like in that scenario unless you were put in it. 
And also - this happened so quickly to her; this current album was literally a last effort to see if she could make it, it didn’t make much noise at first, and then suddenly she skyrocketed overnight. It’s probably still very overwhelming and she’s still adapting to it. Usually pop stars have a slightly bigger adjustment window and more support because they come from bigger/better management or labels and are given more attention by them.

Whatever the case, I’m sure it’s a lot more than just ‘she’s angry and not cut out for this’. Plus she’s not the kind of girl to stay quiet, just listen to what she writes about lol, no woman writing songs like this is going to be all quiet and cutesy and people-pleasing.

Someone inside the industry needs to take her by the hand and tell her some of the insider things work. Kind of surprising she was unaware that billboard was notified and reports when management for a high profile artist changes. It's industry standard.
