yeah but Lana is known for her significant musical style that's been pretty much consistent since day one. She never cared much about charts nor trophies and that's fine. Gaga though is a different type of pop artist. She's always strived to break through in commercial and staying in the charts is a big deal for her brand. Obviously like any of her lead single so far also Disease has been created to chart high but it's failing to accomplish that. It's a toll on her, you can't deny that. Doesn't mean you can't enjoy her music nevertheless though!

IDC, Disease is her best single since Applause.  Honestly it’s nice to see her getting niche again.  If I wanted a chart queen I’d stan Taylor, but that’s not what I’m here for

it doesn't sound like anything right now and it's out in the midst of the joker II and DWAS. i think all of this is intentional. And with the current state of the world i must confess i didn't even noticed we didn't had interviews and live renditions of the song yet
