After an initial report from a high school, the phrase "Your body, my choice." is spreading rapidly online. Multiple women have reported a mass increase in misogyny and r@pe threats following Trumps win in the election. The aformentioned phrase has become the center of it, and has been used regular both online and in person; the in person rise has primarily come in schools that are both K-12 and higher-ed. This comes amongst a rise of phrases such as "get back to the kitchen" and "repeal the 19th".

It first started with white nationalist Nick Fuentes:

To the women the are openly supporting this (yes, there are women that have been seen supporting this phrase and others), congratulations! I hope you enjoy this too! We won't be going to you when you cry out for help after anything bad happens!

These women who support Trump deserve to be treated like the property their husbands and radicalized gen z boyfriends consider them to be. Let them be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen and have no other value than to be incubators for sperm. Let them rot and fade into nothing once they are past childbearing age and have no worth left since they never developed any sense of self.

I saw a lot of posts on social media about this in the last 2 days and it's so disheartening.  I fear for women, truly.

People really underestimated how hateful Gen Z actually has become. Straight men have no respect for anyone else and it shows.

This is why I consider pickme-ism and tokenism to be two way streets. It's not just people being used for clout. Often times the people getting used are fully supporting it and going along with it.

Caitlyn Bennet, Candace Owens, and Blaire White are all great examples of this.

It‘s ironic to you, not to them. For them nothing about this is predatory. 

 

Ofc that changes when it happens to their daughters, or when these women have it happen to them. But even then, the irony is found in not that „your body, my choice“ ideology being the problem but their specific case being „different“. That one man was the problem, not the ideology.
