Faust see the reality clearer, has more knowledge than any other human being since he made a pact with Mephistopheles. But he feels unsatisfied bc he sold his soul. He was a preceptor so that's why he can also be perceived as a guide. But what did Gaga meant to say with those lyrics? Well, it could be about her relationship with the music industry. How sometimes they maybe tried/tries to limits her creativity. But it can slso be about the way some ppl says that she made a pact with the devil to be creative and talented. Yes all of those snippets sounds amazing but the short "Garden of Eden" snippet (not the extended fake one) sounds very 2010s electro-pop.
