DWAS only getting 16K with all the variants and vinyls, which missed the biggest chance it had to hit #1 on billboard. Disease barely getting streams right now. Catnikko 13,683 Posted November 10 Share Posted November 10 i think the lack of leaks is contributing to some people here thinking this era so far is 'less exciting' than SL for example SL era was exciting because we were getting ROM and free woman leaks and producers were teasing stuff but idg how as a fan this era is not exciting so far? the song is amazing, the video is amazing, the snippet she even gave us as a tease in the video sounds amazing im excited sorry if you aren't idk what you want? We shouldn’t have to rely on leaks to have an exciting era and keep us engaged. Yes, the song is amazing and so is the video. Also, i think Interscope made a mistake sacrificing Disease's first week (with a strong full force promo). This thread isn't about the charts though. I'd rather have lots of performances, interviews, content etc than a top 10 song that gaga doesn't even pay attention to. Considering that album release are close to DISEASE, Interscope not likely have enough slot in their schedule to promote both, since they managed many artists in their rosters, they need to spread their bigger artists releases evenly and wisely to avoid clash and cannibalizing each other moments, which means bad in money intake for the label, hence they might be getting DISEASE promo replaced for Harlequin if Gaga insists Harlequin need that kind of marketing, since she/they were really pining on Joker: FAD success at the time? Especially with the vinyl actually ready for shipping on release week. It was delivered to US fans on the first week of release. OFC things goes bad to worse for them when JFAD becomes infamously flopping in cinemas & media. That must be harsh on her camp, and all the silence a week before the release of DISEASE was her and her team mourning, and most importantly, trying to restructure her upcoming plans for LG7? Girl please, even if fans try their hardest to support DWAS, it is clear that the locals chose to support the other Bruno's song with Rosé of BLACKPINK. It's newer release and not a ballad. It was proven to be the song that reached #1 BB that week instead of DWAS. Gaga stans are aplenty, but the locals are always going to be outnumbered us. Newsflash: Gaga pushed through with Disease and that is the proof she did not care or atleast she disregarded Joker 2's critics. If critics are the most important to her then she would've listened to that woman with a messy blonde hair who said Gaga should take a break or something.
