I feel like my worldview and sense of reality is shattered, but at the same time I'm also not surprised 

Basically what I deep down feared how the majority thought was proven true, as much as I wanted to believe it wasn't.

I really never understood why there were so many documentaries about cults in the USA until I moved here and realized that it's because genuinely many Americans are programmed and groomed to accept cult living as a norm, religiously and politically. But now the line between both has been completely erased. This is going to take YEARS to fix.

Polling still apparently can’t figure out Trump on the 3rd go-around, and Kamala had record breaking grassroots donations and rally attendance. Even Allan Lichtman was flat out wrong.

Can some in the Republican Party not allow all this madness to go completely unchecked? I am not American. I want to believe that I’ve been in a leftist echo chamber, and that there are still a good number of Republicans out there.

The entire western world (that includes Japan and SK etc) depend on America for peace. It’s literally the last line of defense keeping everything in check (at the expense of some). If America goes full evil like Russia and China, it’s over for humans. 

Seeing people like Stephen Miller and JD Vance speak.. you can clearly see evil in front of your eyes. 

I'm not American, but I want to believe that al least a few ones, I don't know if they are enough to make a difference.I mean in my country I know that center right politicians have good ideas and similar ones to center left. But to be honest we have at least six parties, and they do colligations when it's needed. Only far right politicians are wild and super conservatives. It's very different from American politics. Unfortunately the republicans I saw speaking on television are probably the worst ones

I just don’t understand how this happened. Trump has gotten so much worse and yet he not only won, but he won by a relatively good margin. Yeah, I know the Blue Wall states were kind of close, but also…not really. Early in the night I felt like it was inevitable that she was going to lose PA and WI. She also barely won Virginia, which shouldn’t have been close at all.

He also won the popular vote. Those of us not in Trump’s cult are literally the minority now. My god, I can’t even begin to fathom how f*cked we are. I hope he burns the country to the ground since that’s what so many people voted for. They clearly don’t care about anything if they’re willing to elect him again. A bunch of selfish, ignorant, stupid, bigoted assholes who don’t take his threats seriously. We’re doomed.

Has Trump said anything post-election yet about RFK ? I know he has said pre-election that he will give health to RFK, but maybe that was just strategic, trying to win RFK voters, or maybe just ramping up the craziness. It'll be a good litmus test for just how crazy things might get. If he does do it, then anything goes.
