Pushing 2M daily streams is perfectly fine especially for a Lady Gaga song that actually makes her coming out of that very safe and tamed AC / jazz music box she was 90% into for the last decade. Chromatica (as much as I love it to death was also pretty much safe in production and lyrics).

Even if it means less commercial drive on LG7, I'm living for her being creative and experiment more again. Her creative peak was still 2008 / 2013 objectively.

True. Gaga is a touring force + the first single is never really the most iconic in her past 10 years of career. The most iconic are always the 2nd or 3rd single + the album in general

Just to be clear, I don’t care if Disease smashes or not cause let’s face it, it’s literally one of the best songs released this whole year. Whether it gets its deserved flowers or not doesn’t really matter cause mother is bringing flavor back into the mainstream after so much… bland food being served by a lot of artists

Tbh most people thought it would have felt like a Katy Perry song which hasn't happened (still pushing +2M daily streams)

She just needs to push it a bit at the right moment

 

When is the right moment? Christmas freeze starts in like 2-3 weeks

 

Unless they are hoping it survives until January and try to push it then
