I’m sorry but if you’re part of the LGBQT+ community or a woman and you voted for Trump, then you have no right to complain about what’s to come.
This is on your hands. What a dark day.

I wonder how all the “I’m not voting for Kamala cause of Palestine” feel rn. We, as a country, collectively just secured their annihilation. Millions of innocent lives. Literally. Literally. We just doomed them. We all have blood on our hands rn

Honestly the only race that there's any sign of a Gaza factor is Michigan. And if she won Michigan, she still loses.

Look at what Trump did in states like New Jersey & New York where he ran up votes in places he should never have done so.

The Democrats have lost ground with working class minorities. The everyday experience of the economy is bad even if the headline figures are good (for the rich). The party is increasingly seen as elitist so then having a bunch of celebs telling you to ignore how your wallet feels just makes things worse.

The Democrats, centrists & the left as a whole have totally failed to combat the right wing take over of the internet & social media. And as a result we are seeing a significant shift among Gen Z towards the Republicans - especially among men.

Anyone who thinks Palestine had a major effect on state races like Arizona/Nevada/Pennsylvania just aren't living in reality

Question: I'm not American, but I've noticed that in every elections, a vast majority of states in the middle portion of the US mostly vote for republicans and only the tiny states in the side (except California) vote for democrats. Don't the democrats appeal much to major portions of America? It's like they are too dependent on the tiny states.

You're looking at land mass not population density.

Those big states have a fraction of the population that places like New York state or California have.

Ok but she literally said she would continue Biden's Israel policy if she was elected.

Did she tho? I remember reading about how she talked to the protestors at one of her rallys about a ceasefire.

Havent seen her saying Israel has a right to defend itself (which she mightve said, Im not american so I aint following this election 100%) but if I had to choose between someone who is open to dialogue or someone who just wants to "finish the job" in a war I know what I would pick.

This is so f*cked up... I know half of the population doesn't like him, but if as a country the US still voted for this man, I am sorry for that other half but as a country you deserve what's about to happen. I am not feeling pitiness anymore

**** you America.

Maybe you should go ahead and build that wall after all. Build it all the way around your rotted country. Let the Kamala voters out and the rest of you can do what you do best to each other

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

If it didn't affect the rest of the world too then I wouldn't give a ****. I would love to see all the Americans I care about getting out of that godforsaken place

The VP has zero control over this stuff. Let’s not turn into Trumpian-like people who use fake news to make a point please

She said she wouldn't have done anything different though

HARRIS: Let me be very clear. I’m unequivocal and unwavering in my commitment to Israel’s defense and its ability to defend itself. And that’s not gonna change.

BASH: But no change in policy in terms of arms and so forth?

HARRIS: No. We have to get a deal done.

Those viral and much criticized answers came after her interviewer repeatedly stated that Biden's policies have been overwhelmingly ineffective.

We've been getting circular statements like that for months now. She says she's open to dialogue but she's also committed to continuing arming Israel for their "self-defense". As even CNN, shockingly, dared to admit, this is illegal, as Israel cannot invoke that right under international law.

I can't argue with you about the "if I had to choose" argument, that's to each his own. I don't think that's the right angle though. What I've mostly seen among voters is the ethical approach of not wanting to reward Kamala with a win, effectively saying "carry on killing thousands of civilians". Whether that's correct or not, again, I have no idea, but I don't think anything's wrong about saying it was shocking and reckless for Kamala to not even try to hint at a change in approach.

the far right is on the rise in European and its something to take notice in :rip:

yes. And the sky is blue and water is wet. The point I’m (trying) to make is, that people make politics and not the rise and fall of the sun or god. There is power to coalitions and just because the US failed this time doesn’t mean the rest of the world is doomed to do so too. xx ☺️
