Horrible numbers for Dems in Florida so far.

This is actually okay in my opinion.

I subscribe to theory that the more red Florida becomes, the better it is for Dems in the long run. What's happening is Florida is becoming a Republican paradise and it's causing Republicans from the north and the west to move there and Florida liberals to leave, thus giving other critical electoral college states a heavier liberal bias because large sections of their conservative voters are gone and "evacuating" Florida liberals are replacing them.

This kind of information is not official right?

The results haven’t been certified, but based on the reports of how much of the ballot has been cast and what the margins are between the candidates (and whether it would be possible for the second place candidate to clear the gap based on the remaining vote share), networks can determine whether they have enough info to call the state before cert.

I had so much hope when Kamala first announced she was running, but girls I’m nervous might just take an extra klonopin and call it a night  :toofunny:

No way they are. An estimate perhaps but as long as you are in line even if it’s 6:59pm…7 PM… The polls stay open until you vote.

If you’re in line, even at the last second before it turns 7 PM in Florida, you have the right to vote and cast your ballot.

look it up

The results are literally coming in.

Where are the nerves coming from, though? Nothing unexpected has happened thusfar. The states we knew for sure Trump would win, he is winning.

CNN just said that Independents switched from +9 Biden to +11 Trump in Georgia... 20% difference. Kamala lost 20% of them. I am getting really pessimistic

However, there's some positive signs..?

BREAKING: Kamala Harris is on pace to win Hamilton County in Indiana. This is huge because it’s a suburb that Trump carried by 7 points in 2020. This could show a significant trend line for suburbs across swing states leaning towards Kamala Harris.

Similarly, Trump appears to have lost 8pts in Boone County, IN since 2020. Inchresting.
