But her US fans are really dragging their heels, as are all her fans worldwide. Just 3 countries have debuted it in the top 10. After election, it stands a chance, I guess. I just hope her fans can show the same energy for it as Disease now that DWAS is on the rise. But I don't know how hard it is for her fans to stream on Spotify. Just do the same as you did for her last big hits like Shallow, ROM and you know...DWAS. I don't get why fans show up for some songs and not others. This is the lead single, folks. It's not the end by any means but every single matters. You mean the New Zealand Hot Singles as one of those 3? That’s pretty much a bubbling under chart for them
fashii0n 29
Only morons care about charts i'm sorry If you're an adult still obsessing over charts, it's time to seriously question your maturity. Do you even love music, or are you just chasing trends? There's a ton of amazing music out there beyond the mainstream corporate pop bubble that gets zero support or recognition Stop acting like those 14 year olds kpop stans It's a shame how much talent gets overlooked while the same boring cookie cutter artists dominate the charts When I listen to the top 10 Spotify hits, it’s just boring and basic as hell. I'm actually glad this song isn’t charting. it just proves it’s something different and interesting, unlike all the cookie-cutter tracks flooding the charts. Starmie25 13,091
also some of you need to remember that Gaga will always be considered quite polarising, especially in her pop sound.
ShayCristoforo 10,511
It’s a good song but not a smash Gaga hit like Bad Romance, The Edge Of Glory, Rain On Me, etc. Music video is good but not amazing. She’ll come out with a smash eventually. I’m sure this was an appetizer. A tasty one. Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.
InTheCloset 17,754
Is there a chance for it to peak higher hopefully in the top 10? Where's the spunk, Adam?
Versace 7,860
And when I made a thread that she needs to delay the lead till Jan 2025. Y’all came for my neck. This song had everything going for it to be a commercial underperformance. * DWAS dominating like crazy (to most listeners, this is Gaga’s new song/comeback) *Joker flopping meant there was a variety of general listeners who were already put off by Gaga, doubt they were gonna tune in so soon *No Music Video on day 1 or day 2 of release *No comeback interview or TV appearance/performance to promote the single (most casual listeners don’t even know the song exists) *No physicals to sell alongside the digital *Election season and Christmas season means there is no proper landscape for a pop hit right now to begin with *Song is amazing but not commercial single material at all Not that commercial success is everything but the song never stood a chance to begin with and that’s partially on her/her team if they wanted commercial success but doubt they did since they knew they were having it with DWAS.

Mister G 10,024
Some of ya'll need to log off for a bit, maybe hug a tree because touching grass isn't enough anymore. Smh nothing is ever good enough for a handful, and the entitlement shows. 1

chathonnete 419
Let's be real, the song doesn't match the GP + it wasn't a great timing. Gaga received massive bad press with Joker, so people were not hiped. However, we should just be happy to get new dark music with a music video, let's not care if it's not a top 10, she has a hit already with DWAS

She’s doing this strictly for the hardcore fans, and if we keep focusing on the chart positions we’re gonna lose sight of where she’s taking us with her art. As if we want her to chart anymore. Have you seen the top 10 of BB100? It's a mess. It's not a good measure of success like it was 15, 20, 30 years ago. Music is not the bling!! I'm sure she doesn't care neither do I. Judas is coming. Let the cultural baptism begin.

Lets be real, we are almost 20 years fanbase. We are mostly adults here, and now with the new generations, the new media (spotify, different chart rules) and new artists emerging, its kinda natural that lady gaga lose her spot. I think even its correct, we should celebrate theres more new artists, even Gaga support that idea. Looking from a merchandise point of view, i think they choose right when they decide to go with the dark era, but lets be honest the bloody mary/judas effect was almost 2 years ago. They were kindaaa late. And im talkin about the general people, of course us the hard fans is what weve waited for the last 10 years so dont let people or chart sucess let u not enjoy the music! kindest regards

metalguru 922
The timing couldn’t be worse. I don’t see her wanting to promote the song if Trump gets elected tonight. But as long as she stays committed to the original vision and delivers her art in a full, authentic way, I’m good with it. My only concern is that the lukewarm commercial performance might push her toward a more conventional, ballad-heavy style. But if there’s one thing we can always count on, it’s her unpredictability. Honestly, I’d be fine with her going low-key yet bold for a few albums, similar to Madonna’s era between Erotica and Ray of Light. That period was a blend of creative risks, culminating in the commercial and artistic success of RoL.
