That second song is so country and I’ve never heard it before. I hope this isn’t the direction for her new album.  I wonder if her team thought a country song would help her break through further since some country songs have been blocking her from ascending further on the Hot 100.

I remember reading that her producer said something like “you’re going to see different side of chappell” so I guess thus is the “different side” :wtfga:

Like Im not mad, I’m not a country music hater but I think pop going country became kinda annoying the last couple of years.

Good Luck Babe is also on the album so I don't think it's gonna be a fully country album tbh

Receipts? Justin Tranter the writer of GLB said they worked on the song in 2022 and it was supposed to be included on her debut but that Chappell was tweaking it for a while. I think it’s just a stand alone single.

"About “Good Luck, Babe!,” Roan said it’s the “first song of the next chapter” and it’s “about wishing good luck to someone who is denying fate.”"

I thought that meant it's the first taste of the next album? Idk

How on earth am I seeing that she’s doing SNL now? I see thread after thread of her saying she’s “gotten too famous” or that she doesn’t wanna get any more famous but how are you gonna book the VMAs and now SNL but cancel the shows for your fans? I live near the All Things Go Festival and she had die hards GUTTED thinking she was about to take a huge public break. I think she’s extremely talented and deserves success but I find her whole “hatred for fame” spiel to be unbearable, she gives spoiled
