The series certainly stretches the imagination/realness but it's cool to me as a Karate Kid Fan seeing this series playing out with the younger generations. Long story short: Daniel and Johnny the protagonists and rivals from that film renew their rivalry in the modern world from a string of incidents/coincidences.
