BornAsUnic0rn 1,937
It is in my holy trinity of lead singles. Bad Romance / Applause / Disease About its chart performance: I can totally see Disease rise in the next weeks and months, and Disease deserves it. But if it doesn’t that wouldn’t change anything for me, she swung big and she took a risk with the lead, for the first time since Applause, and that is all I wanted. 2
juicyjuicy 1,742
Fantastic choice for lead single. Kick ass music video. Was sad about the lack of promo, but I’m over that at this point because everyone who has heard the song seems to love it so far. Murakami27 1,303
It has become one of my favs. I didn’t think it would. Her vocals are incredible. I love all the grunts and screams she makes in the background. I questioned the choice to have this as a lead, but all those doubts are gone. Whether this is a massive hit or not is not important. It stands out against the Chappel Roan, Charli, Sabrina, etc that are dominating the GP and charts. It could be recency bias, but I think we will look back at this song in a few years in high regards. I can see this song and era influencing other artists. It’s so bold in its vocal performance.
Ouranos 673
It’s now my third favourite Gaga song I love everything about it the beats the little background vocals the high notes at the end pure perfection and I’m full homo but the middle part of the video when she’s chained to the pole standing on herself does things to me AMAZING 👏🙌🔥 I absolutely love this woman 🤟🏻 2

Lanie 10
I hope Lady Gaga's very proud of herself for creating yet another hit. IMO, this song's one of her biggest earworms. Even though the chorus didn't sound completely convincing at first (hello, impossibly high expectations!), the song soon wormed its way into every part of my body, where it now has a permanent residence. The video is epic, too. After the first watch, I had a ton of questions (as I typically do with Gaga's art), but it's so deliciously layered that you just have to watch it again and again and never ever get tired of it. Just thinking that this is already the third song of hers in my Lady Gaga top 10 since August, I can only bow down to this amazing artist. She's the only musician who's managed to impress me time and again since 2009. I wish her all the best and hope that her beautiful muse never lets her down. Gaga forever!
