Hey Boy 869
Guys that's great for Disease! I mean it's higher even including Tyler's album bomb. It's on top of TTH right now so may rise this week. And even if it's not, in streaming era some songs clicks and some not even for biggest household names. The Weeknd last extremely GP friendly lead peaked at #14. A lot of conflicting information right now, but a lot of seems to be suggesting that there’s still chance for #1. the prediction provided could’ve low balled the sales boost given from the variants released this week. we have to see if they change for the final prediction. It’ll come out on Sunday. luna’s advocate 1
Battle 4 Ur Life 6,321
so they really should push the physicals now. I think it’s an AMAZING single and it doesn’t sound like anything on that list. Smash With a Smile

Many of us wanted her to do darker music, and Disease is just that. We can't have it both ways: we can't have unconventional industrial pop, and the audience reception of a traditional, safe pop song. It is what it is. She gave us the industrial single we've been wanting for years, she filmed a very minimalistic video for it, the song is doing as well as it could possibly do. I can see it going higher if it goes viral on TikTok and kids start vibing with it, but as of now, this is as good as it'll get for a song like "Disease", and we should be ok with it. Her making an album with just music that she likes, ignoring all current trends, is a very appealing concept to me. One of the consequences of this, will be lower chart performance, and I'm fine with that. This. She took the same risk with Joanne

I was expecting/hoping for a #7 debut for the LG7 lead but Harlequin's debut numbers made it clear to me that she could potentially miss the top 10. Doesn't matter much though, the artistry is where it should be and she's smashing on the charts with DWAS anyway Is the fanbase dwindling or have times changed in 8 years with more people now deciding to stream songs for free instead of buying them? Much to think about!

Plus, both Million Reasons and Shallow were able to become hits only because of the major promo they got: The SuperBowl and the Oscars. Million Reasons was doing very poorly before the SuperBowl performance. After it peaked at #4 because of the SuperBowl, it free fell significantly the next few weeks Plenty of artists have performed new music at the Super Bowl only for it not to have been met with the same boost that Million Reasons received. Same with the Oscars. It's a testament to Gaga's talent as a live performer. Plus, MR, for instance, is enduring on Spotify 7 years later... 200-300k daily streams. So let's not discount it.

Well it was released few weeks ago, is a passion project, caters primarily to her big fans that would buy anything she releases. I'm not saying she's a flop or anything I just assumed that her core fanbase no longer runs to purchase en masse whatever new Lady Gaga music is out - and that's fine, we're all getting a bit old for Swiftery Is there some reason my LG7 isn't here? Has she died or something?
