And I woulnt agree with the assertion that its dead even in the west. It remains a very large platform. But i think the users point is that in the West payed stream services like Spotify and AM are used to a high degree and youtube now has to compete with them I myself have spotify and you youtube less unless im specifically whatching music videos. If im not specifically whatching videos I no longer put on the video just to listen to music, i turn on spotify on my phone or connect to speaker Many ppl are like me.
