He's literally said he wants to make at least $2tn of cuts in the first budget if Trump wins.

Im not agreeing with his tone (or the stuff hed tartet to cut spendong on) but in terms of the US being on an unsustainable path, it absolutely is and on that part at least I agree with him

 

Countries running deficits of 5% of GDP annually on a consistent basis year after year outside recession, war time or post major natural disasters is virtually unheard of

The problem is their "solutions" (they're not solutions) include general tariffs of 20%+ on EVERY imported good, zero regulations on pretty much anything, and unprecedented tax cuts on the wealthiest people

Liberal policies like ones Biden (and hopefully Kamala) put in place are more often than not there to clean up the mess after one of these right wing people, like Trump, tank the economy. Like so many liberal policies, they're built to be tweaked as time goes on to build a lasting stability incrementally.
