I'm into dark music, Boy Harsher, Skinny Puppy, Chelsea Wolfe, Even I myself make dark noise-pop music, but we don't sing about Zombies to "prove" it's dark, does that make sense? Hope so Lady GaGa isn't exactly Hocico, and her lyrics have always been camp, and often goofy. She's not an EBM artist trying to represent such genre and themes. She's a pop musician, who constantly references popular horror themes. It would be within her regular imagery. She has done it in the past as well, "Monster" literally says: "He ate my heart and he ate my brain". It's not goth, so it doesn't have to impress a goth audience. I fckn love it, the church echoes are so good. i hope the rumours are true and that's it's Dante's "Divine Comedy" themed, especially the "Inferno" part.
