Conjuring, Hereditary, Midsommar, Babadook, Scream 5 & 6, Halloween 2018, Smile, Get Out, Pearl. There’s so many ideas. 
 

i hope they go back to being gross and raunchy lol because the last ones seemed more like slap stick 

like Evil Dead or Terrifier are good examples

I was just thinking 1 and 2 were the best ones and just looked up to see that the Wayans brothers were involved in the writing and directing, same as the new one so that's great news. They weren't part of 3, 4 and 5 so that explains a lot.

I wonder what horror movies they will parody this time around... there is SO much to pull from. Probably the biggest hits I can think of in the past few years (as someone who isn't a horror movie goer)  have to be Midsommar, IT, Longlegs, Hereditary, The Conjuring, Babadook (oh they could do so much with the LGBTQ thing). SO much material to work with
