I think this song is probably her best ballad. It's a bit early to say that, but we'll see.

I can't deny that I feel relief that "Happy Mistake" didn't become a viral hit. You know,

this is the type of song for me that is a hidden gem. Anyone who is not familiar with her

discography can find this song, be surprised and fall in love. 

Its the same like places fo a walk. Most people like famous, beautiful, popular places.

However, the best walks are in hidden places that few people know about. you feel my vibe?

I feel your vibe  It’s interesting to see HM from this perspective. A hidden treasure that is available for the chosen ones  It can still become a hit sometime in the future though. 

I’m not sure it’s my favorite ballad, but it’s definitely in my top 3! I love this song so much

It wasn't pushed to be successful though. It only lasted one week at the bottom of the Today's Top Hits playlist, then pulled out from most playlists.

I love the song and I understand OP. I'm happy that it's a personal deep cut for us.

People used to say this a lot about Dance in the Dark back during TFM era - that we loved the song as monsters but were kind of glad it didn't get the single treatment (in most countries) so it could remain 'a song for the fans,' a hidden gem of sorts. I don't know that I really feel that way about Happy Mistake, but I get the sentiment.

This is how I felt about Dance In The Dark and Scheiße. I was scared of them becoming singles because they'd be out there for the whole world to listen to as singles and maybe be played everywhere that I felt protective of them.
