Monet 823
So... Agatha just killed Alice and that's it? She really couldn't control it? Did she really felt guilty about it? Why she killed witches? She was more likable in WandaVision But regardless, it was an excellent show. It reminded of the mysteries of the good sis WandaVision

It reminded of the mysteries of the good sis WandaVision I think contextually, she was telling the truth that she couldn’t control it. Because every time prior - hundreds of times seemingly - she took power of those that attacked her. Alice might be one of - if not the first, to ever use their magic on Agatha as a means of protection. She may not even known she could control it, as there was never any need to since it served her as protection for hundreds of years prior. But then when we see Billy share his power, she for the first time is able to cut herself off. It may not explicitly be stated, but I would imagine Agatha does feel regret over Alice’s death, because in the end, the trip on the road with everyone did change her for the better - or rather, changed how her actions reflect herself. darkgaga 2,773
I kinda disliked the final episodes. There are so many questions unanswered which should have been in this series. 1. What previous relation did Rio and Agatha have before Nick was born? She already called her love there. 2. What truth was too awful for Agatha to tell the coven? That she loved her son and he died? How is that worse than what she let them believe 3. What was the reason Agatha was put on trial by her mother? Was it acquiring the Darkhold? Then she didnt trade Nicky for it, since he was born later right? So what did she do? Or did she have the Darkhold already when she had Nicky? Probs not, because no black fingers. 4. Were all the events Agatha was in history part of her trickery to gain power? Or why was she there? What was her relation with Rio after Nicky died. Didnt seem they didnt see eachother for 400 years. 5. Billy wanted to find Tommy at the end of the Road. With help of Agatha he did, so he got out. But why are him and Ghost Agatha now going to look for Tommy? He should know where he is already?

It’s really strange that they included her here but not in the Infinity Saga. I wonder if she will be a major role in Doomsday or Secret Wars. Aubrey Plaza is peaking right now (Megalopolis was supposed to be a blockbuster so the role is still relevant). She looked incredible and was completely believable. Either way, I’d say this series is another step toward return to form for the MCU! TArL
Rat Boy 41,420
Spoiler Why did Billy make the road and go to the effort to create/complete the road? "Rat Boy's a nasty, trashy, sleazy, classless"- River

Without it, he would not have developed his powers. It's a testament to the scope of his powers too, just like Wanda's accidental creation of Westview was. Both of them created their artificial worlds out of deep emotional longing but the difference is that Westview was made to control and the Road was made to emancipate.

How is that worse than what she let them believe I wrestled with this one too. At first I thought maybe she felt she cursed her son by only letting him live a very short while instead of just not letting him be born as planned. But then I remembered that part of Agatha's emotional catharsis was saying to herself, "sometimes, boys die". There was no meaning to Nick dying. It was just uncontrollable fate. The vulnerability of facing that is something she would realistically hide vs. her persona as witch who is always in control. On 11/1/2024 at 4:32 AM, darkgaga said: 5. I think the unexpected surprise of the Road was that Tommy was not alive, so Billy had to literally bring him into being. So he did find him, in the afterlife (there's that scene where they actually talk to each other as Billy pulls him through space and time), but not yet in this life.
