A$AP Rocky's firearm assault trial is pushed to January 21st from prior November 12th start date after  his team asked at a hearing Tuesday that it be postponed because he is headlining the Rolling Loud music festival in Thailand next month.

The trial is expected to last 10 days. A$AP is represented by Joe Tacopina, who has served as a personal attorney for Donald Trump.

Rocky could get up to 24 years in prison if convicted on all charges.

Superior Court Judge Mark S. Arnold said he will allow video cameras to air the trial.

A$AP Rocky was accused of firing a gun twice in the direction of his former friend, Terell Ephron, in November 2021.

He was first arrested for the alleged shooting in April 2022 and released from police custody on a $550,000 bond.

The artist had been charged with two counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm and one count of personal use of a firearm. In January, Rihanna's boyfriend pleaded not guilty to charges.

In November, during a preliminary hearing that included testimony and surveillance video evidence, a Los Angeles judge ruled there was enough evidence for the Puma creative director to stand trial.

Rocky was recently selected to be a celebrity chair at the Met Gala in May, though the result of the trial could complicate his ability to attend.

Cancel the damn concerts. That's what people who are buying tickets to see a criminal deserve.
