Maybe if we remain hopeful, all the gen z and millenials are procrastinating and will be the ones to vote last minute and all for Kamala It says 42% of the current votes are from 65yrs or over and only 9% so far are from 18-29yr olds Yeah, it looks like young people aren't showing up as much as we would've liked, which is disappointing. A lot of the enthusiasm for Kamala initially came from young people. And where are they now?! I'm hoping that most of them show up on election day. Younger people are procrastinators and they'll get in there during the week or last minute 2. Or, as we've seen, a lot of young people are extremely performative in their activism and don't practise what they preach Let's hope it's the former I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. However, it is part of an also concerning trend of Trump polls putting him ahead to make an election steal look more "probable". Refer to my post before!! 3 hours ago, PartySick said: (I spam, it's what I do) I'm checking out this poll from August and it's pretty interesting. The survey was conducted August 16-20 from a sample of 1,601 people aged 18-29 in AZ, GA, PA, MI, NC, NV, and WI. The margin of error for the study was ±2.4%. When asked to select up to three issues that will influence their vote choice the most, young people said jobs, the economy, and cost of living (53%), abortion (35%), healthcare (25%), and education (24%). The conflict in Israel and Gaza ranked 10th (13%), woke ideology 15th (6%), and a potential TikTok ban 18th and last (3%). Kamala Harris is perceived as the more trustworthy candidate on every issue polled, ranging from abortion (58% trust Harris, 17% trust Trump) and healthcare (52% trust Harris, 17% trust Trump), to jobs and the economy (38% trust Harris, 33% trust Trump) and immigration and the border (37% trust Harris, 33% trust Trump). Amongst young people who indicated they were ‘absolutely certain’ or ‘very likely to vote,’ Kamala Harris wins 70% and 56% of young voters while Donald Trump receives 23% and 22%, respectively. Pretty interesting right? Well... A huge part of Kamala's outreach has been to mobilize a lot of potentially first time young voters and they're turning up Young voters are always a "vote on election day" group but they're massively outpacing projected numbers. Of course, it'd be nice if gen z and millennials voted at the same rate as their parents and grandparents but we're doing alright You have to remember the half a million young voters that registered through Taylor Swift's link alone, the record breaking number of black women that registered after Biden dropped out (and young black women are literally the HIGHEST propensity voters, the most reliable group) Whimsical bitch

Luckily there are a lot more guardrails in place and he has no real power other than his influence on the dumbest people in this country. It'll be much harder for him to steal this election than it was in 2020 and he failed then Whimsical bitch
sarahb 17,188
About all those other polls that have it as a tie, I read this "Nate Silver's group did the math. The odds of all states being this close in polling is like 1 in 3.5 trillion. There are barely any outlier polls, which means there is almost definitely herding happening in polling. They're so worried about being wrong that they force it all down to 50-50." Do you feel him sir?
