Why do people think the car with her on it isn't the single cover?

it’s just weird that her pre-save link doesn’t have that pic as a cover then

I can’t believe that the first thing tomorrow morning I’ll be listening to a new Gaga song……. I can’t process it lmao

The last 24 hours before a release is so much fun on here. Everyone starts truly losing their minds in the best way

My nightshift will be horror because it ends right when the single drops… Do I listen in the car or do I wait until I‘m home so I can listen with my AirPods

Bring your airpods to work and listen on the car with the airpods :teenidle:

Just remembering the mass meltdown we had upon discovering that Stupid Love doesn't have a chorus. Good old days :flutter:

I always said it back then and I'll say it again: how is the "I want your stupid looooove love oooooh *vocalizations* I want your stupid looooove love ooooh" from 00:55 to 1:14 not a freaking chorus??? The chorus of a song is about a moment of release of tension, like in Replay the chorus is an instrumental drop with just "the scars on my mind are on replay re-replaAaAaay" but they ARE choruses ma'am

I mean, it's understandable. We've not been provided a 1:1 version of it, so there's a real possibility it's not the single cover.

I will be the same, I finish work 30 mins before the single drop, I think I will just spend some time in the car and play it in the car with the nice bass on.

Hit me a message and say hi !

No 1:1 version, it aint there for the pre-save link and we don't have pre-orders yet, which would make sense to release them asap if you have the cover revealed so you can maximise sales.

Technically it's more of a drop than a chorus, and it's not very climactic honestly.

And the beat drop in Replay is also a drop, not a chorus. The chorus is "I don't know what to do, you don't know what to say...."

The style of most of the Chromatica songs is typical house - where the chorus is made to be the buildup for the dance drop.

We want more traditional pop choruses again like she used to do, where they are proper soaring euphoric melodies, and satisfyingly climactic.

Do both :ohwell:

Tho personally I'd listen to it in your car first. At full volume!!! Sound systems in cars are much better than little earphones.

So just to gain assurance, the video is dropping at the same time with the song, right?

Since she's teased the video I'm assuming they'll both be out at the same time dw.

A lot of artists do a car test before they release so I'll always do that first :gayhat:

Gaga was known for writing bombastic choruses. SL chorus is nowhere near that. Whereas Replay has an immense buildup to the drop. A chorus doesn't always have to be grand. ARUTW has a stunning chorus, so does HML, so simple yet fantastic. I don't think SL chorus matches the level of HML even though HML chorus has an even simpler writing.

I did that before because I can’t really focus listening to a new release while driving

I usually always decide if a song is „good“ or not when I‘m in my car because my sound system there is really good even though I love my earphones when it’s directly injected into my eardrums
